I think I may be the only person who does these on himself... haha :)

Well, as many folks know already my dermatomyositis has come back and kicked me in the boo boo. It apparently wasn't all about the gluten thing. Bah!

So I decided to go heavy gluten starting thursday when I swiped some of Flinx's pizza. mmmmmm yumma pizza.... oh back on track....

What were the results? Well, I'm going back on the gluten free diet. It did a slight increase in the pain level with a lot more of the sudden jabbing pains, really fubared my digestion, sapped my energy like nothing else.

So, I found out what I already knew... gluten = bad. But damn its so tasty.... :)

Doesn't help with the overall pain and weakness issues but at least I've solved if I should stay on the diet or not.

I'm getting incredibly worried for this country... why? the demagoguery surrounding Obama is insane. I'm sorry folks... he isn't the messiah... he's a man... just another damn politician.

Ooooo he has more melanin in his skin that any previous president... why the fuck should I care? If he can do the job, it doesn't matter how much or how little nor what dangles or doesn't dangle between their legs. READ THIS: I HAS NO BEARING ON THEIR ABILITY TO DO THE JOB. That is the only thing that should matter. Can they do the job and are they the best person for the job.

I think he may be able to do the job and I'm sure he isn't the best person for the job but a better choice than the republican candidate.

So lets all get off this damn deification of the guy, let him get started and see how he does. He hasn't done anything. Especially with politicians but it is true for all, actions speak louder than words. If he follows through and makes a positive change in this world.... I'll say he is doing a good job. Until then, he is just a new employee that we the people have hired.

So I read this book on Thursday (yea, I'm crazy like that)... have to say if you're an idiot it is probably a pretty good book. If you're a geek, then not so much. Half of the book is spent stating in extreme details things that you should really know already. the other half is a pretty good story if not exceptional because it follows a very predictable pattern that even when it attempts to throw something new, you never really believe it because it was never completely set up. I found the characters to be a bit too one dimensional and lacking in intelligence outside of the area they were placed in.

Sorry for those who did enjoy the book, it wasn't bad... and it was worth a first read but for a book to be called good by me... I need to want to read it many times.

Hmmm... thinking back... this would have been better posted at the BEGINNING of the month but I'm a bit slow at some things.

Well April is Autism Awareness Month.

So look up and be happy you could be one of those with Autism... you never know who they may be. They don't all stare at walls and rock back and forth or count cards instantly and do advanced math in seconds.

Some could be your friend or co-worker. Autism can be express itself in many different ways. But the one thing that nearly all people with the condition have trouble with is social queues. It's different between men and women but it is normally there. This simple fact alone makes every day that much harder for them. They get treated differently, react differently to situations then so-called "normal" people.

So be nice those people and try not to get too frustrated if they don't get what you say or interpret it differently. Patience and Kindness can go a long way.

Da Grim
